Christmas - aloicious style

We've got some fun traditions for our family Christmas party with my mom's side of the family. One of them is singing Christmas carols with kazoo's, or "kazarooling" if you will. Everyone gets to choose a carol to kazoo to.

And you've always got to be on the lookout for the dreaded "kazoo breath." Of course, you probably don't want these folks breathing in your face without a kazoo. But all socially acceptable behavioral limits are thrown out when you've got a kazoo in your hand!

It's even more fun with two! Isn't that true for most things?

Frankles DID NOT like the kazoos. Hopefully he changes his mind or he's out of the family.

Until next year...

love, aloicious

Poor Frankles. Kazoos are our friends, he'll understand that one day! We do the Xmas caroling redneck style, my dad drives us around the neighborhood on Xmas eve (as many of us that will fit in the back of his truck) and we belt out the tunes, forgetting the words to the songs. I've never thought of kazoos, I'm putting them on my shopping list!

LOL @ kazarooling! That really hit my funny-bone, heheh. Sounds like a great party :D .

Casey - that's the great thing about kazoo's! You don't have to know the words!

GF - It is a great party. Most of the family lives locally so there's lots of people and food and we even sing regular carols too. But the kazarooling really sets it apart. =)
